The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is a V8-engined limited-production grand tourer produced by Alfa Romeo between 2007 and 2010. The name refers to the eight-cylinder (cilindro in Italian) engine (8C) and Alfa Romeo's racing pedigree (Competizione, Italian for "competition").
The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione was introduced at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show as a concept before being revealed in full production form during the Mondial de l'Automobile 2006. The production version is very similar to the concept; the biggest difference to the exterior being the rear-hinged hood. Other minor changes included the front lights, which used Xenon lamps, a standard wiper system, a mesh side vent, and the rims, which had a design that mimicked the cloverleaf logo.
The 8C Competizione uses a Ferrari/Maserati 4.7L (4,691 cc) naturally aspirated F136 YC V8 engine with peak power of 444 hp (331 kW) at 7,000 rpm and peak torque of 354 ft·lb (480 N·m) at 4,750 rpm. The 90°, cross-plane, wet sump lubricated V8, assembled by Ferrari, redlines at 7,500 rpm and has the rev limiter set at 7,600 rpm, as well as variable timing intake valves and a compression ratio of 11.3:1.
The 8C uses a six-speed transaxle gearbox with a computerized gear selection by means of levers behind the steering wheel and may be used in Manual-Normal, Manual-Sport, Automatic-Normal, Automatic-Sport, and Wet modes. The gearbox can shift in 175 milliseconds when using Sport mode.
The 8C is claimed to do 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds, reach a top speed of at least 181 mph (292 km/h), and complete a quarter mile (402 m) in 12.4 seconds at 116.4 mph (187.3 km/h).

The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is a Tier 3 vehicle. It requires 290 stars to unlock, and costs 240,000 Cash. It is the only Alfa Romeo vehicle in the game.
The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is the highest-ranked of the 10 original Class C cars, with a starting rank of 1161 (shared with the Aston Martin DB9 Coupé), a MAX rank of 1357 (shared with the Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary), a PRO rank of 1282, and a final rank of 1478.
The Alfa Romeo 8C is one of the best cars in Class C when both price and performance are considered.
However, compared to cars like the Lotus Exige S Coupe, Audi RS 4 Avant, and even the SRT 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8, the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione has considerably worse nitro efficiency, at 10/15/20, in the same fashion as the Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA.
The strengths of the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione lie in its high raw top speed and total top speed, as well as its decent acceleration and handling.
The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is able to achieve most rewards (usually all single-player rewards) in Class C Time-Limited Events. Like its three Class C rivals mentioned in this article, it is not very suitable for Multiplayer.
The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione appears as a Class C car.
The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione again appears in Asphalt Overdrive, at the high end of Tier 3. For some reason, this car has the same stats against the Chevrolet Corvette C7 (which is in Tier 4). It costs about 600,000 bills (like the Pagani Zonda R, in Tier 4). It is highly recommended, albeit expensive. Its boost is Roll cage, which adds 25% bonus to the score every time you make a knockdown. Thus, overall this car has big similarities to Tier 4 Cars despite being part of Tier 3. It is highly recommended to beat Johnny Bateman, although the first time the player drives this car will be difficult.
