The Lamborghini Veneno, also known as the Lamborghini Veneno LP 750-4, is a limited-production hypercar based on the Lamborghini Aventador and was built to celebrate Lamborghini's 50th anniversary, along with the Lamborghini Egoista one-off concept car.
The Lamborghini Veneno was built alongside the one-off Egoista concept car to celebrate Lamborghini's 50th anniversary. When unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the Veneno was one of the most expensive production cars in the world, with a price tag of US$4.5 million.
The Veneno, bult on the Aventador chassis, was produced only in five examples: one for factory testing, one for Lamborghini, and three for customers. Car Zero is finished in gray and includes an Italian flag vinyl on both sides of the car.
The Veneno's 6.5L (6,498 cc) naturally aspirated V12 engine now produces 740 hp (552 kW) and 509 ft·lb (690 N·m).
Performance figures for the Veneno include 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 221 mph (356 km/h).
The Lamborghini Veneno Roadster is a limited roadster version of the Veneno hypercar, unveiled on the Italian naval aircraft carrier Cavour docked in Abu Dhabi's Mina Zayed port. It was produced in only 9 units.
Another Aventador-based hypercar, the Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4, was unveiled at the March 2016 Geneva International Motor Show.
The Lamborghini Veneno, available since initial release, is the first Class S car the player normally encounters in the game. It was even featured on the first app icon for the game before being replaced by the Ferrari LaFerrari in v1.3.0.
The Lamborghini Veneno, being the first Class S car, has a starting rank of 1481, a MAX rank of 1600, and a MAX+PRO rank of 1680. The car receives a Tuning Kit bonus of +29 rank points.
The Lamborghini Veneno, intended to be a starter's Class S car, performs extraordinarily well for its rank. It has a decent launch and strong acceleration, albeit not the best in the game. The Veneno's drifting and handling capabilities are great too, as is its top speed, which is actually higher than that of the Pagani Huayra. The Veneno has the highest nitro stat of all the original Class S cars and is also the most nitro-efficient (6/12/16) of all the original Class S cars.
Strangely, the Lamborghini Veneno performs worse than the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, which is a Class A car that is ranked much higher (by 48~87 rank points), yet has far worse nitro efficiency (9/14/19). This is because unlike the Veneno, the Aventador was added 9 updates later in May 2015 and was also intended to replace the aging Savage Rivale GTR as the new top-end Class A car purchasable with Credits.
Compared to the GTA Spano, the Veneno excels at nitro efficiency and acceleration, while the Spano has better total speed, top speed, and handling.
The Lamborghini Veneno excels at another task - Credits farming. It has the largest payout per minute in its Mastery Challenge 15 out of all cars that don't require Engine cards in their Pro Kit formulas, so until other useful cars such as the McLaren 675LT, W Motors Fenyr Supersport (Mastery Challenge 14), or McLaren MP4-31 can be fully tuned, the Veneno has a very solid niche in single-player. One should be careful not to wreck the Veneno in the Mastery Challenge 15, though, as it is a Flawless race and any wreck will result in immediate disqualification.
All in all, the Lamborghini Veneno is intended as a starter's Class S car, capable of winning all the Class S events in Career Mode, even when just maxed out. Since v1.3.0, the Lamborghini Veneno costs 140,000 to purchase and 417,500 to max out. Prior to that change, though, the Veneno was priced at either 32,000 or 50,000.
The Lamborghini Veneno appears in Asphalt Overdrive as a Turf 5 car.
The Lamborghini Veneno is available in Asphalt Nitro from the get-go as a Class A car. It otherwise behaves exactly identically to its Asphalt 8: Airborne rendition. The Veneno has a buying price of 155,000.
In the beta version, the Veneno was a Class B car.
The Lamborghini Veneno appears in Asphalt Street Storm Racing as a Class S car. It was added in the Asphalt Street Storm Racing Graphics Update.
