The Maserati Alfieri is a 2+2 grand tourer concept car by Maserati.
Description
The Maserati Alfieri was shown as a concept car at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show and has not entered production as of 2018.
It is named after Alfieri Maserati (1887–1932), one of the five Maserati Brothers, and marks the 100 year anniversary of the car maker, which was established 1914 in Bologna. It has been developed at the Centro Stile Maserati in Turin. The chief overall designer was Marco Tencone, while the exterior chief designer was Giovanni Ribotta. The project was managed by Lorenzo Ramaciotti (born 1948), who has been Centro Stile director since 2007 and in 2014 was the head of Fiat-Chrysler Global Design.
The Alfieri uses design elements of the Maserati A6 GCS/54 designed by Pininfarina in 1954. It is based on the chassis of the lighter Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale with a shorter wheelbase of 24 cm, with locking transaxle and Ferrari-derived V8 engine of 4.7 liter 460 hp and 520 Nm at 4750 rpm.
The Alfieri was confirmed for production in 2016 at a Fiat Chrysler event on May 6, 2014 but was delayed to 2020 at the earliest. The predictions were it would receive three V6 engine choices, producing 410 bhp (306 kW; 416 PS), 450 bhp (336 kW; 456 PS), and 520 bhp (388 kW; 527 PS).The 450-horsepower and 520-horsepower versions will only have an all-wheel drive system.
The Alfieri will be joined by a convertible variant in 2021 after the coupe's release. An electric version is planned for 2021 at the earliest.

Summary
The Maserati Alfieri is a car released in the Fifth Anniversary Update as a high-end Class C car with the following rank statistics:
- Starting rank: 1075
- MAX rank: 1415 (+340)
- MAX+PRO rank: 1586 (+171)
- Tuning Kit bonus: +60
- Stock to MAX+PRO rank difference: 511
- Speed Multiplier: 92.91%
- It is the first Class C vehicle with a speed multiplier below 100.00%.
- Upgrade rank percentages: 10/55/10/25
- Nitro Efficiency: 6/10/14
Performance
The Alfieri has a real maximum total speed of 266.6 mph/429.3 km/h at MAX+PRO with Tuning Kit, effectively making it the new fastest Class C car, faster than the Sbarro Sparta with 266.1 mph/428.6 km/h. As a departure from previous top-ranking Class C cars, the Alfieri is heavily biased towards raw top speed, all while still having acceleration and nitro efficiency as its strong points. The Alfieri has a considerably wider drift radius than its closest competitor, the Sbarro Sparta; on non-technical tracks, the Alfieri makes up for this deficiency with its much higher raw top speed, faster acceleration, and slightly lower nitro consumption speed at Level 3 nitro. On tracks like Dubai and Sector 8, the Alfieri, disadvantaged by its wider drift radius, is only some ten frames slower than the Sparta.
It is effectively the new fastest Class C car in the game and the second fastest Class C vehicle, behind the MV Agusta F4 1000 R.
Usage
The Maserati Alfieri is the new best Class C car, although its restrictive availability makes it rarer than the Sbarro Sparta, which can be assembled with Blueprints. Unlike the Sparta, though, the Alfieri does not have the restrictive usability of an Elite Car.
The Alfieri awards 44 and 100 in Car Mastery.

Usage (Multiplayer)
In the modified matchmaking used for the Heatwave Season in the Fifth Anniversary Update, the Alfieri, with its aforementioned total speed, meant that it would be pitted against cars like the Mercedes-Benz Biome, Pagani Zonda R, and Shelby Cobra 427. Its acceleration, high raw top speed, and high nitro efficiency would have been advantageous over most other cars with similar total speeds.
In the reverted matchmaking used for the Fall Flash 2 Season in the Fifth Anniversary Update, the Alfieri, with its low total speed in relation to its rank (especially with the rank needed to win the Alfieri in its R&D), means that it is not competitive against cars like the Audi R8 e-tron Special Edition or Porsche Carrera GT, amongst many others.
Price
The Maserati Alfieri is neither purchasable with credits nor tokens or able to be assembled with Blueprints. It can only be obtained through the completion of its R&D event.
The Alfieri requires 1,247,075 or 7,460 for its upgrades. Its Pro Kits require 673,800, 13 of each Class C Parts card, 32 Hybrid Engines (double the amount of the Sbarro Sparta), 16 each for the Initial Tech and Early Tech cards, and 8 Mid-Tech cards.
