The Range Rover Evoque Coupe HSE Dynamic is a sport version of the compact luxury crossover SUV Range Rover Evoque.

Description[]

The Range Rover Evoque is a compact luxury crossover SUV produced by the British manufacturer Land Rover, part of Tata's Jaguar Land Rover group. It has been produced since July 2011 in three and five-door versions, with both two-wheel and four-wheel drive. The Evoque is designed to appeal to urban buyers and meet requirements for lower CO2 emissions and fuel economy. The production vehicle is similar to the Land Rover LRX concept, which was unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in January 2008. The Evoque has been received positively by the automotive press for retaining the features, amenities, and off-road capabilities of a traditional Range Rover in a smaller package. Land Rover sold nearly 88,000 units of the Evoque in its first year of production.

Asphalt Xtreme Asphalt Xtreme[]

Overview[]

Now known just as Range Rover Evoque, it appeared in the game originally as a Class A SUV, it was then moved to Class S after the Coachella Update, Compared to its Asphalt 8 rendition, the Evoque features off-road tires and, strangely, is missing its door mirrors.

It requires 20 Blueprints to be built and starts at level 23, refills take 1 and a half hours, and cost Credits 200 per refill.

Performance[]

The Evoque is one of the faster accelerating SUVs in the game, its acceleration and nitro power is great for its own archetype. It has similar handling characteristics to the Hummer HX, in that it is responsive and easy to drift even at low speeds. It also benefits from drift boosting at the start, and has an acceleration increase better than the HX. Its drifting radius is very poor for an SUV, being worse than the HX, and also has a very low drift angle, which causes low cornering speeds for the sharp corners on Coachella Valley and Svalbard. Drift-boosting around corners does improve the radius by a considerable amount, but not to the extent of the Mercedes-Benz G 500 4x4(2). Despite this, the Evoque is still capable of maintaining its all-in nitro by chaining drifts to refill once the player adapts to the handling, and due to the lengthy nitro duration in all SUVs, it can maintain this nitro throughout the majority of the race. Its low top speed is comparable to the HX, with the Evoque being being slightly faster when all-in nitro is used.

At Level 50, the Evoque is arguably the best Class S SUV, its acceleration and all-in top speed makes the Evoque beat out the HX despite its poor handling. The Evoque is not any slower than the HX when only using long nitro, but can usually be faster when using all-in nitro correctly thanks to its slightly higher top speed. When comparing to all the other SUVs, the Evoque's lower top speed and handling makes it lag behind cars such as the Land Rover Defender and Porsche Macan; like with most SUVs, the Evoque is even more outclassed when compared to other archetypes, especially rally cars. The Evoque is not a good choice for multiplayer races even with the relatively decent acceleration, as its top speed and air speed capabilities will put it behind the pace of more multiplayer viable cars.

The displayed and approximate real speed of the Level 50 Range Rover Evoque are:
(Speed Modifier is ~94.4% when using the Land Rover Defender as a benchmark.)

  • Top Speed w/o boost: 162.1 (~153.0 mph)
  • Top Speed w/ Level 1 long nitro: 172 mph (~162.4 mph)
  • Top Speed w/ Level 2 long nitro: 179 mph (~169.0 mph)
  • Top Speed w/ Level 3 long nitro: 183.2 mph (~172.9 mph)
  • Top Speed w/ Level 4 ET long nitro: 185 mph (~174.6 mph)
  • Top Speed w/ All-in nitro: 194 mph (~183.1 mph)
  • Top Speed w/ All-in nitro & ET: 198 mph (~186.9 mph)
  • Max Air Speed: 192 mph (~181.2 mph)
  • Max Air Speed w/ ET: 195 mph (184.1 mph)

The Evoque's top speed is slightly higher than the HX, but is still lower in comparison to other SUVs and Rally Cars. Using all-in with Extra tank is impractical, so realistically a player is stuck with the lower top speed of the regular all-in nitro. Unlike the HX, the Evoque has no real use in time-limited events, making it more of a novelty item than a useful asset.

Overall, it is not recommended to upgrade the Evoque, while being one of the faster Class S SUVs in the game, it is not quick enough to compete with anything else beyond, its low starting rank also means that a lot of rare Class S Tools would be needed for upgrades in addition to the blueprints, making the Evoque a costly endeavour to upgrade to Level 50.

Performance[]

The Evoque has very high total/raw top speed, decent nitro, great nitro efficiency, mediocre acceleration, weak handling, and extremely good drifting. It has a total speed of 244.07 mph/392.96 km/h.

The Evoque is commonly used in Multiplayer. Like the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe, it can be used with both raw top speed and nitro upgrades.

The Evoque competes with the GLC Coupe between ranks 1000-1100. It competes with the ED Design Torq and Honda Integra Type-R at rank ~1200 and with the Mitsubishi Eclipse at rank ~1300. The Evoque is inferior to most good Multiplayer Cars below rank ~900, and to the Porsche 959 until rank ~1150. It is inferior to the BMW M2 and Shelby Cobra 427 from rank ~1100 and up.

Usage (Multiplayer)[]

The Evoque is no longer good for multiplayer, with its rank weightings changed and positive speed multiplier removed. Especially in more recent updates, with PRO kits only unlocked once a car is at MAX, the Evoque can no longer be tuned at all and struggles in multiplayer due to its bad acceleration, which takes more than 4 seconds to reach full top speed. Even though its nitro duration, handing, and top speed were untouched, it is unable to compete with the Porsche 718 Boxster S, BMW 3.0 CSL Hommage, Nissan 370Z Special Edition, or Rezvani Beast Alpha.

The Evoque is optimal for Multiplayer between ranks 1000-1099. It reaches approximately 208-222 mph (335-357 km/h) at these ranks. At rank 1099, the Evoque is roughly the same speed as the Porsche 959 but has worse acceleration and nitro duration. However, the Evoque has better drifting and raw top speed, so it can beat the Porsche 959 by overtaking/performing a knockdown around dangerous turns. At ranks from 900-1050, the Evoque is up to 4 mph (6 km/h) slower than the Porsche 959.

The Evoque has upgrade rank weightings of 10/60/15/15.

The Evoque's most popular tune is 0400 5050, @1065. This gives it a total top speed of 217.2 mph (349.6) km/h. However, at this rank, 0400 5050 is NOT the fastest (total top speed) tune for the Evoque. This is because nitro until level 3 is more efficient than tires (see: Evoque Tuning).

The fastest tune around this rank is 0403 4050, with a rank of 1072. This tune results in a total top speed of 218.6 mph (351.8 km/h). An extension of the 0400 5050 tune, 0401 5050, which results in a rank of 1073, gives a total top speed of 218.5 mph (351.7 km/h). With the more popular 0401 5050 tuning, the Evoque is 0.1 mph (0.1 km/h, due to rounding) slower and 1 rank higher than the lesser-known 0403 4050 tuning. Of course, both 0401 5050 and 0403 4050 are equally competitive, with the former possessing more raw top speed and the latter possessing more acceleration (nitro increases acceleration).

A tune of 0404 4050, with a rank of 1096, gives a speed of 221.6 mph (356.7) km/h while keeping the rank below 1100. This is important because tunes with ranks just over 1100, such as 1102, are counted as "low-end" 1100-1200 and can easily get matched against cars at rank 1180-1200. However, tunes with ranks just under 1100 are counted as "high-end" 1000-1100 tunes, and generally only see players between 1040-1120, with some rare cases of players as high as 1150.

For the above reason, rank 1085, which is 0402 5050, with a speed of 220.3 mph (354.6 km/h), should not be extended to 0403 5050, which results in a rank of 1102 and a speed of 222.6 mph (358.2 km/h).

It is important to note that the BMW M2, which was given away for "free" in three different TLEs, as well as being featured in an assembly cup and being buildable with 30 common Blueprints, is faster than the Evoque at all ranks from around 1100-1120 and up. This means that any Evoques caught in the bad matchmaking of the 1100+ ranks will be forced to fight the superior BMW M2 very frequently. Also, any Evoques which are tuned to ranks around 1180, 1220, etc, will almost always lose to the BMW M2, and as of the Fall Out Boy Update, will lose to the Audi R8 e-tron Special Edition as well.

Other possible tunes for the Evoque:

  • 0401 0000, @884, speed = 192.2 mph (309.3 km/h)
  • 0402 0030, @937, speed = 199.9 mph (321.7 km/h)
  • 0402 0050, @987, speed = 207.2 mph (333.4 km/h)
  • 0400 3050, @1012, speed = 210.0 mph (337.9 km/h)
  • 0403 2050, @1028, speed = 212.7 mph (342.3 km/h)
  • 0400 4050, @1036, speed = 213.3 mph (343.2 km/h)
  • 0500 5050, @1162, speed = 227.5 mph (366.1 km/h)
  • 0505 5555, @1314, speed = 244.2 mph (393.0 km/h)

Usage (Other)[]

The Evoque is the top car of the low-end Class C TLE bracket. It is popularly tuned to MAX + PRO for this reason.
