The Renault DeZir is an electric concept sports car.
Description
The DeZir, first officially presented at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, is a two-door coupe with a unique butterfly door configuration: on the driver's side, the door opens like a conventional butterfly door (hinged at the front); while at the rear, the door opens like a suicide butterfly door (hinged at the rear).
The DeZir has a 148 hp (110 kW) electric motor mounted in the middle towards the rear. It produces 167 ft·lb (226 N·m) of torque. Powering the rear wheels is a six-speed automatic gearbox.
The DeZir's performance figures included 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 112 mph (180 km/h). This would give the DeZir direct rivalry with the Audi e-tron concept.
The DeZir is the first in a series of concept cars that are paving the way for Renault's future both aesthetically and technologically. The series is modeled after the stages of life that a Renault customer might encounter. In Renault’s own words their customers will fall in love, discover the world, start a family, work, have fun and become wise. The DeZir concept symbolized the love stage, the Captur concept symbolized the discovery stage, the R-Space represented the family stage and the Frendzy represents the work stage.

Performance
The Renault DeZIr is an extremely nitro-focused car. It's performance is based on the Ford F-150 but with a greatly improved nitro efficiency and slightly worse speed at lower ranks when Multiplayer tuned.
The DeZir's maximum total speed with a Tuning Kit is 224.5 mph (361.5 km/h). This is extremely fast compared to neighboring vehicles in Class D. The DeZir's low starting rank and large nitro contribute to this speed.
The DeZir's default acceleration is mediocre, but with a nitro-based Multiplayer tune, the acceleration becomes very quick. The good nitro efficiency is the DeZir's biggest advantage apart from its high top speed.
The DeZir's steering isn't very good but its handling/grip is very good. The DeZir has a decent drifting radius but it becomes very slow when drifting. The DeZir's raw top speed is very low, putting it at a disadvantage if it runs out of nitro.
Usage (Multiplayer)
The Renault DeZir is generally the first good Multiplayer car that a player will ever use. There are alternatives, such as the Ford F-150 or the Volkswagen Beetle Turbo, but the DeZir offers the most reliable and balanced performance. The DeZir is very popular due to its low costs of purchase and upgrades.
The DeZir is suitable from ranks 500 to 1000, but it's generally best kept below rank 850, where it is the best car available. The DeZir's speed is worse than the Ford F-150's and its acceleration is worse than the Beetle's, but it has better nitro efficiency than both cars. Two other competitors are the Camaro Z/28 and SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI, but both are also generally worse apart from possessing better raw top speed. Past rank 850, the DeZir cannot compete with the Porsche 959. Past 950, the DeZir cannot compete with the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe and Range Rover Evoque Coupe HSE Dynamic.
The DeZir is best used with a nitro-focused tuning. It has a 35% rank weighting on nitro and a 55% rank weighting on top speed. The DeZir's top speed upgrades offer around 125% of the speed of nitro upgrades. However, this isn't enough to offset the higher rank weighting.

Though the DeZir has useful upgrade setups, it is equally reliable when kept at stock (without upgrades), as the player will be matched against beginners using un-upgraded Dodge Dart GTs which proves to be useful if the player is not willing to spend credits on boosters. However, this comes at a cost; when the player crosses the 1400 rating mark, rating points now have diminishing returns.
Usage (Other)
In Events, the DeZir is never featured as the top car and hence does not see much use in events. The DeZir is sometimes featured as a MAX + PRO "free try".
The DeZir counts towards the Winter is Gone collections. Completing both versions awards a total of 
950,000

The Renault DeZir has a buying price of 
375. Upgrades costs 703,000 or 6,985 while Pro Kits require 44,833 and 2 of each Class D Parts card.
