been a long time since my last top 10. let's do this! also, your wish is granted, R8 tyke.
the music in Asphalt 8 is amazing. now, Asphalt Youtubers turn it off, because Youtube rules. others just turn it off, because reasons and that's what makes it underrated. so, today, i thought: "why not make a top 10 about the music in Asphalt 8?".
here are the top 10 soundtracks i like the most. keep in mind that these are strictly my opinions and opinions may differ. let's jump right into it.
Number 10: the Fall Out Boy music.[]
starting things off, we have all the Fall Out Boy, or FOB for short, soundtracks. this is one of the reasons i liked the FOB update so much! i was really excited to hear their music in the game and now i became a new fan of them. in my opinion Gameloft went all out to make the FOB World Tour really awesome, even though it was easy. the reason i put all of them in the number 10 spot, though, is because the soundtracks are exclusive to the FOB World Tour, which is the disappointing part about it. i hope they can add them in the menu as well, but a man can dream.

speaking of the menu music, this is our number 9 spot. i just can't pick which one i like the most. i won't say much about it, because it's awesome the way they are. nuff said. on to the number 8 spot
Number 8: Vitalic-Stamina.[]
this is where we get to some Electronic Dance Music or EDM for short. while it's actually very good for what it is, some people get annoyed hearing it. i watched the video clip and it was really cool. what's also cool about it is that you can listen to it when you hit the gym. that's all i have to say.
Number 7: Nero-Etude and DJ Gontran-Burning.[]
i know that this is two soundtracks in one spot, but i couldn't resist. these two soundtracks have many things in common: great for AI races, Ace races and Grand Finales, they start in a very awesome way and the beat drops right after you start knocking down your opponents. and while we're at it, they're both awesome! not much to say about them.
Number 6: Deadmau5 ft. Gerard Way-Professional griefers.[]
if you watched the video clip of this soundtrack, let me tell you, it's just as amazing as this soundtrack. the beat drops right from the start and the collaboration between Deadmau5 and Gerard Way both in the video clip AND the soundtrack is just plain cool! i actually like it and it makes races even more intense, while we're at it.
fun fact: in real life, Deadmau5 has a McLaren 675LT of his own, which is really cool.
Number 5: Queens of the stone age- Go with the flow.[]
this soundtrack is number 5 because of the nostalgia. when i was 8 years old, my brother and i used to play Gran Turismo 4, listening to this and many other soundtracks with it. and when i hear it, it bring back so many memories of that game. that's how awesome it is.
Number 4: Martin Garrix-Animals.[]
you heard it on the radio. now it's in Asphalt 8. this one, right from the start, will awaken your destructive instincts and make you want to destroy anyone that gets in your way, during the race. though, there are 3 more that get me to my A-game even more than this one.
Number 3: Bloc Party-Ares (Villains remix).[]
oh, boy. i actually like this SO much! at first, it starts all relaxing, which would fit for the beginning of any boss battle on the events of the game, but once the beat drops, you know it's about to go down! like i said before, this soundtrack makes boss battles even more intense than usual, which is why i like it a lot.
Number 2: MONSTA-Holdin' on (Skrillex and Nero remix).[]
this is another one of the awesome soundtracks. it's also known as a meme that's used on Youtube. here's an example: let's say you play a race in multiplayer and wreck and you're in last before the end of the race. once the "but my hope will never die" part comes, the beat drops and you overtake them and win the race at the nick of time! yep. that's how awesome it is.

before we get to the number 1 pick, here are some honorable mentions.
-Krubb Wenkroist-Bad weekend. a whole awesomeness right there. nothing more.
-Gemini-Fire inside. the beat in the beginning and in the end is just awesome.
-AWOLNATION-Burn it down. it just makes me feel like a badass.
now it's time for the number 1 spot.
Number 1: Mord Fustang-Windwaker.[]
this, in my opinion, HAS to be the best soundtrack in the game. the beat drops from the start, it's got a really cool vibe to it and there's no way you can resist it. this is another soundtrack that fits well for boss battles AND for making races more intense. and it's awesome since 2013. that's all i have to say about it.
