NOTE: Repost from Google Plus. This blog shows the real acceleration of high-tier vehicles in Classes A and S. The displayed acceleration statistics are all fake. Real statistics have been found by in-game testing.
NOTE: Acceleration is calculated as the time it takes to go from 0 km/h to full speed at the start of the race.
I have done some testing and research and I have found the REAL acceleration statistics of the following high-tier vehicles in Asphalt 8: Airborne.
NOTE: All values are approximations. I did some measurements myself and I also used "reliable" sources on YouTube to figure out the rest of the measurements.
1. McLaren Mercedes MP4-25 - 1.8 sec (TTS = 488.7 km/h, RTS = 437.3 km/h) (This ca…Read more >

The Aston Martin Vulcan was added to the game during the Championship Update. It was unlockable through its Multiplayer Season as an exclusive prize for the top 100 players. The Vulcan is now permanently on sale for 14,250 Tokens.
The Vulcan is a high-end Class S Track-Day Car.
The Vulcan is currently the best car in Class S, with the lowest starting rank in Class S by far. The low starting rank allows the Vulcan to dominate at ranks from 1500 to 1700, and also at 1800. A low-ranked tuning for the Vulcan should roughly consist of a 0504 5050 base tuning, with various other tweaks such as a few acceleration upgrades or exhaust upgrades. With a MAX + PRO tune, the Vulcan has a rank of S1806.
The Vulcan is the fifth-faste…Read more >
The Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport was added to the game during the Car Blueprints Update. It was unlockable through its Enduro Double Down. The Corvette GS is sometimes sold for 13,250 Tokens, but it is usually not on sale and it also cannot be obtained with Blueprints.
The Corvette GS is a high-end Class A Sports Car.
The Corvette GS is not suitable for Multiplayer with a low-ranked tune because of its high starting rank. It should instead be used at MAX + PRO (or close to that level), where it will be unaffected by poor matchmaking. The Corvette GS’ final rank is A1807 with an Elite Tuning of 0808.
The Corvette GS' combination of a high raw top speed stat and Elite Tuning gives it a very high total speed. It is the …

The Chevrolet 2016 Camaro SS was added to the game during the Lunar New Year 2016 Update. The Camaro SS is available for 6,250 tokens.
The Camaro SS is a high-end Class A Sports Car.
The Camaro SS is one of the most flexible cars for Multiplayer in the entire game, being capable of competing at a variety of ranks (though it does have an optimal rank zone). The Camaro SS has a very low starting rank, a high ending rank, and a very high raw top speed stat. With an upgrade rank weighting of just 45% for raw top speed, the Camaro SS can become faster than the Hommage until ranks past 1500.
The Camaro SS can be used from ranks 1250 to 1300, where it will have a small chance of defeating cars like the Cobra and BMW M2. …
